    Registered Social Worker SWRB

Bachelor of Social and Community Work (Hons.)

I am a Clinical Social Worker offering Talking Therapies to adults, and Professional Supervision to Social Workers and other professionals in the social services field.

    THERAPY

I draw on an Integrated approach to Social Work theory and practice that provides a grounded and safe space within Therapy for people to articulate and explore their thoughts, feelings and issues. This process supports the development of meaning, empowerment, and desired outcomes.

    SUPERVISION

Supervision provides a space to explore and develop one's individual style, consider practice moments, boundaries and ethics. Consideration of personal wellbeing is prioritised, and given the space it deserves in relation to the demands of the individuals unique position.

My practice experience includes the NGO sector and Community and Residential Adolescent and Adult Mental Health settings. I have experience managing and leading teams and working collaboratively across the NGO and Public Sectors.

Alongside my consulting work I hold a Clinical Lead position for the South Island within an established EAP Service.
